An additional service of Skinner Painting is offered by our powder coating division.
Powder coating can offer many benefits that conventional liquid paint and other finishes cannot, such as improving product life and appearance, and providing an environmentally friendly protective coating. Your finished product will be more resistant to chipping, scratching, and fading, and you can even choose your own custom color. The available colors of powder are nearly unlimited, and these colors come in a wide range of finishes, such as high gloss, flat, and satin. Clear coats, metallic, and textured finishes are also available.
Powder coating gives you one of the most economical protective finishes available due to the process in which it is done. This process makes use of a positively charged protective powder that is sprayed onto an electrically grounded surface, where the powder particles adhere, and are then cured in a curing oven, producing the finished product. Unlike conventional liquid painting, most powder coating projects can be completed in just one coat, and will provide twice the durability.
So whether you’re restoring grandma’s old lawn furniture, or your needs include industrial production work, our team has a solution for you.
